Maritime Consulting Inc. is based on the gulf coast of Florida and has experience in the maritime industry since 1973 when I myself was a merchant mariner in the engine room. I am currently an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary as well as having worked in the inspections department at the Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit in Toledo. Up until May 1, 2009 my wife and myself were license evaluators at the National Maritime Center in West Virginia. I transferred to the NMC in October of 07 from the REC in Toledo Ohio. Shortly after that my wife was hired as an evaluator. We know the in’s and out’s of how the NMC runs. We know the changes and new requirement to obtain the new Coast Guard MMC.
